About Us

Welcome to Cylch Meithrin Casmael

We are a friendly Cylch Meithrin based at Casmael School Hall (Puncheston) in Pembrokeshire. Our aim is to provide a safe, loving, and exciting environment where young children can learn and develop through the medium of Welsh.

We are part of the national Mudiad Meithrin network, the largest voluntary organization working with young children in Wales. There are over 500 Cylchoedd Meithrin across the country, and we are the first choice for families in the Puncheston area.

Our program focuses on learning through play, following the Curriculum for Wales and ensuring that every child gets the best possible start.

Mudiad Meithrin Established

Mudiad Ysgolion Meithrin (now Mudiad Meithrin) was established to promote Welsh medium education for young children across Wales.

Beginning

Cylch Established

Cylch Meithrin Casmael was established by local parents and volunteers to provide Welsh medium education for children in the area.

Today

Growing and Thriving

We continue to serve families in Puncheston and the surrounding areas, providing Welsh medium education of the highest standard.

What is Mudiad Meithrin?

Mudiad Meithrin is the main provider of Welsh-medium early years care and education in Wales. Our aim is to ensure that every young child in Wales has the opportunity to benefit from early years services and experiences through the medium of Welsh.
